About Me
Hi 👋 I'm Nicolai — a theoretical physicist with a background in astrophysics, biophysics and neuroscience, data scientist/engineer, and software engineer based in Berlin. I work at the intersection of data, research, and publich health — building open-source tools, data visualizations, and mobile apps.
Current Projects
One of my recent apps is Visual Snow Relaxation, designed to help people with Visual Snow Syndrome. It offers relief through presenting visual noise and includes a small information hub about VSS. Available on Android and iOS.
Another project is Trinkbrunnen und Toiletten (Fountains and Toilets), an app to help you find drinking fountains and public restrooms. Available on iOS. The Android version is currently being tested.
